WASHINGTON — President Obama will tell Congress in his State of the Union address Tuesday to either act or get out of the way, White House officials said Sunday.
“We need to assure the American people that we can get something done, either through Congress or on our own, White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said on CNN.
“If Congress doesn’t act, the President will,” Pfeiffer said in a separate appearance on Fox News.
