Shooting at Elkhart, Indiana grocery story (WNDU / January 15, 2014)

Three people are dead after a shooting at an Indiana supermarket Wednesday night, according to the Indiana State Police.

The dead included the suspected shooter, who was "engaged by police," Trooper Brooks Shirk of the Indiana State Police said.

The situation unfolded at a Martin's supermarket in Elkhart, Ind. about 10:30 p.m.

Martin's Super Markets has posted the following message on Facebook:

"Thank you to our community for your thoughts and prayers tonight. We will comment further when we can do so responsibly and appropriately."
