Embattled New York Rep. Michael Grimm pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony tax evasion.
The Staten Island Republican admitted his guilt in a hearing before Brooklyn Federal Court Pamela Chen, exactly seven weeks after he won re-election to a third term.
Grimm was charged in a 20-count indictment in April with failing to report more than $1 million in sales and wages at a Manhattan restaurant he owned and managed before winning election to Congress in 2010.
