Bill and Hillary Clinton’s new granddaughter is home from the hospital — and Hillary is back on the campaign trail.
The Clintons; their daughter, Chelsea, and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, left Lenox Hill Hospital on Monday, with a beaming Chelsea cradling little Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky in her arms.
Hillary Clinton also headlined a fund-raiser Monday in Midtown to help Democrats try to recapture control of the House — her first political event since her granddaughter’s birth Friday.
Guests said Clinton was eager to talk about the newest addition to the family.
“She’s so proud of being a grandmother,” Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) said as she left the event.
