Vice President Joseph Biden via Instagram Vice President Joe Biden posted his first Instagram "selfie" with President Obama during his first day on the social network.

Vice President Joe Biden wants to be the King of Cool with his newfound spot on Instagram.

Ray Ban Aviators take center stage in his inaugural artsy shot for the social media site, as Biden is only seen blurred in the background working at his desk.

He may be trying to salvage his swag reputation after his wife, Jill, dealt his charm a blow this morning by admitting she fell for Biden's two lovable young sons before she swooned for the statesman.

"I loved his two sons Bo and Hunter. I always say that I fell in love with the boys first," she said on the "Today" show Wednesday, dismissing suggestions she was drawn to his zany sense of humor.

Instagram Joe Biden's swag was overcast by a pair of Ray Ban Aviators in his first Instagram post.

Biden also posted his first "selfie" Wednesday with none other than President Obama, which earned over 3,600 Likes within 27 minutes of posting.

The Vice President also used his first day on Instagram to spotlight his visit to Pittsburgh with Obama to discuss expanding job-training programs.
