People across the UK and Europe got to see a solar eclipse firsthand on Friday — if the weather cooperated. The tiny Faroe Islands and Svalbard even witnessed a total eclipse.

Some of these generous people (and satellites) captured the views on video for those of us not fortunate enough to see it in person. Watch the video above to see the eclipse from across Europe, and even from space.
