BEIJING, Dec. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has continued to rebuff the US accusation that Pyongyang was involved in a cyber attack on Sony Pictures.
According to a spokesman from the DPRK's Policy Department of the National Defence Commission, "the United States has groundlessly linked the unheard-of hacking" to the DPRK.
A month ago, a group calling itself the Guardians of the Peace carried out the cyber attack to protest against "The interview", a movie depicting fictional assassination of DPRK's leader Kim Jong Un. But the US has been accusing DPRK for behind the incident.
DPRK rebuffed accusations and asked for a joint investigation into the incident, but the US refused. Sony Pictures initially called off the release citing threats. Obama criticized Sony's decision, and the movie has opened this week.
