Actor Shia LaBeouf adds to misdeeds with outburst in Broadway theater - CNN

(CNN) -- Actor Shia LaBeouf has made an art of apologizing for a chain of ill deeds. He added a link to that chain late Thursday when he lit up a cigarette in a Broadway theater.

Police led him out of a showing of "Cabaret" at New York's Studio 54, while he barked at them in cuffs. He was drunk and had risen a ruckus in the theater, they said.

The former child actor was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct for his violent behavior and obscene language, said New York Police Department detective Brian Sessa.

In February, he started a performance art exhibit in Los Angeles titled #IAMSORRY, in which he apologizes for a litany of transgressions.
